Ranked & Leagues

Ranked is organised into league families and tiers. You pick which family ladder to climb, every family is its own independent rating track, and at season end your standing soft-resets and you climb again. This page covers the families, how rating works, the Collection-Power gates, and seasons.

Families and tiers

There are four league families: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Champion. Each family is split into five tiers, labelled V, IV, III, II, and I (V is the entry tier, I is the top). That is four families of five tiers each, twenty leagues in total. Every new player starts at Bronze V.

How rating works within a family

Each family is its own independent rating ladder that starts at 0, and the same tier brackets repeat in every family: V is 0 to 299, IV is 300 to 599, III is 600 to 899, II is 900 to 1199, and I is 1200 and above. Because the brackets repeat, ratings overlap across families (Bronze V and Gold V are both 0 to 299). Your rating is therefore per-family, not a single global number: climbing Gold does not move your Bronze rating and the other way around.

Pick your family and Collection-Power gates

There is no auto-placement. You choose which family ladder to climb. The higher families carry a Collection-Power entry gate: Bronze opens at 0, Silver at 7,500, Gold at 100,000, and Champion at 500,000. To play a family you must meet its Collection-Power entry gate. Collection Power is the strength score of the cards you own and field (see the Economy and Cards pages); growing it unlocks the higher families.

Seasons and the soft reset

Ranked play runs in seasons. A season runs for a fixed window, then rolls over into the next one. At each season end your standing goes through a soft reset that drops you a few tiers within your family, it does not wipe you back to zero. The soft reset keeps the ladder fresh each season while preserving most of the progress you earned.

Favourites for the season-end tournament

During a season you can pre-rank a few favourite families: you choose which family ladders you want to be considered for at season end. The season-end tournament that consumes these picks is still being built, so for now the favourites pick is simply a way to record which family ladders matter most to you for that season. You can edit your favourites while the season is active.
