Daniel Samer

Founder and solo builder of Stellarch

Stellarch has never taken outside money. Every card, every mechanic, every line of the combat engine was designed, built, and funded by one person. The goal was simple: ship a TCG that is completely deterministic, replayable, and backed by Hive, so players truly own their collections. That game now exists, in open alpha, at the point where it is ready to open to the world.

What I write about

I write the announcements, changelog patch notes, giveaways, community spotlights, and technical deep dives that come out of building Stellarch solo. Expect real numbers, not hype, and a running record of what changed and why.

Patch 0.39.1: True Immunity

A quick cleanup patch on the heels of Ascension. Untouchable Fighters are finally immune to fire the way they always should have been, and the Fighters we promoted last patch get their real mana costs back after a pricing bug over-charged most of them all the way to the cap.

Patch 0.39.0: Ascension

This patch is about the roster and where you get it. Twenty-five Fighters who had outgrown their old rarity are promoted, renamed, and rebuilt around the power their kits always implied: eighteen climb to Legendary and seven step up to Epic. The Fighter catalog also splits into a pack pool and a...

Patch 0.38.0: The Trainer Levels Up

Right now you beat our ranked practice AI about four times out of five, and that is not the fight we want it to be. This patch is the groundwork for changing it: a ground-up overhaul of how the AI Trainer drafts its team, reads the board, and scales its difficulty to your rank. It turns on in...

Patch 0.35.1: One Shared Picker

Patch 0.35.1 is a polish drop. The headline: every team-draft screen in the game, ranked, the Battle Lab, guild brawls, and the tutorial, now runs on one shared picker, so building a squad feels identical everywhere. On top of that, a batch of fixes lands across tournaments, the WARPATH battle...

Patch 0.33.0: The Season Crown

Ranked seasons now end with a fight. The moment a season closes, the top pilots in each active league family are drafted straight into a knockout tournament, and the last one standing takes the crown, an exclusive Fighter, and the season's prize pool. This patch is all about that finale.
