Patch 0.40.8: The Follow-Through

Another small cleanup patch, and this one finishes the jobs the last one started. Custom games now get the same empty-draft guard ranked already had, dragging your picked Fighters around the dock finally works every time, and your profile Brawls win rate reads the same way the guild page does.

Fixed

Custom games won't drop you into an empty draft

Last patch we made sure ranked, tournaments, and practice matches never roll a rule set that leaves you with no Fighters to pick. Custom games where the host hand-picks the rules slipped past that same guard. Now they get the exact same check: if a chosen combo would leave a player with nothing to draft, the game blocks it up front instead of dropping you onto an empty draft screen.

Dragging your picked cards works for real now

Last patch we tried to fix dragging your picked Fighters around the dock, but the hover preview was still catching your press before the drag could start, so it still felt stuck for a lot of you. This time we fixed it at the source: the preview's ability icons no longer swallow your press, so you can drag a Fighter to a new slot, or onto the remove target next to BATTLE, every time.

Your profile Brawls win rate now reads right

On your profile, the Brawls tab was counting your win rate per game instead of per fray (the full best-of series). A 2-0 series win was reading as 50 percent. It now matches the guild page: your Brawls win rate is the share of frays you won, so the number finally reflects how you actually did.

These all came straight from your bug reports. Keep them coming, and thanks for playing the alpha.
