Reanimort
Post-bio constructs animated by void-magic. Not quite undead. Not quite alive. Cheap.
Hintergrund
The Reanimorts are the unintended consequence of an Old Empire war-experiment that combined cybernetics with Voidkin Umbra culture. The resulting hybrids are mass-producible, expendable, and have an unsettling tendency to ask questions about their origins right before a fight. Veteran mercenaries say one Reanimort is worth half a corpse-bag; ten Reanimorts is worth a city block.
Physiologie
Reanimated bodies fused with circuit-and-shadow grafts. They feel pain but not death. They speak only in command lines.
Visuelle Vorlage
Humanoid in shape but visibly cobbled together — skin pale grey-green with patches of darker tissue, visible seam-stitches at the joints, neck, and torso. One eye is biological (dull and clouded); the other is a glowing cybernetic replacement in dim amber or red. Major joints show exposed cybernetic frames and dark shadow-circuit veins (Umbra grafts inherited from the Voidkin substrate). Speech is mechanical — when they open their mouths there is a faint blue-grey static glow. Outfits are scrap-metal armor with mismatched plates and one threadbare uniform piece (e.g. a tattered Old Empire collar or a single shoulder-pauldron with an unreadable sigil). Weapons are whatever was salvaged — pipe-clubs, rusted rifles, occasionally a perfectly preserved relic blade. Posture is stiff and hunched but never tired — they don't tire. They look UNCANNY; the proportions are slightly wrong.
