Patch 0.4.0: The Alpha Begins

The airlock opens. Draft your team, trust the seed, and climb.

Welcome to the Stellarch closed alpha. This is the first build of the game, and it carries the whole thing: a deterministic card-combat engine where every match resolves from a seed and replays the same way for everyone, a catalog of kinetic anime cards across eight affinities and fifteen alien races, a draft where the team you build decides the fight, and a ranked ladder where knowing which cards matter beats raw spend.

Stellarch is a real game with a real economy. Your cards are yours, your matches are verifiable down to the last hit, and the parts that should be earned are earned. This patch is not a teaser. It is the airlock opening.

New

Deterministic Combat, Replays You Can Verify

Every Stellarch match is decided by a seeded combat engine. Two teams, a mana cap, a ruleset, and a seed go in, and the same winner always comes out. That is the heart of the game: no hidden dice you cannot check.

Because of that, every match has a replay that plays out byte for byte the same for every viewer. You can rewatch your games, share a replay link with a friend, and they will see the exact fight you saw. A match link is something you can actually prove.

Draft Your Team, Then Let It Fight

Before every match you draft a seven-card team: six monsters and one commander. Your commander sets your affinity and shapes what you can field, a divine commander even gets to splash a second element, so team-building is the real decision in Stellarch, not an afterthought.

The draft screen lets you filter by affinity, ability, role, and more, and it surfaces pick tips so you can read which fighter belongs in which slot. Build a sharp team and a modest collection can outplay a bigger one.

Ranked Leagues and Seasons

Climb the ranked ladder across four league families (bronze, silver, gold, and champion), each its own independent climb. You pick the family you fight in, your rating lives there, and seasons roll over on their own schedule with a soft reset so there is always a fresh climb to chase.

Ranked is where the game rewards knowing your cards over owning all of them. SGC rewards arrive at launch, with STEL rewards and a STEL-to-SGC path planned for once the economy settles.

Guilds and Guild Brawls

Found or join a guild, pick an emblem, upgrade your stations, and pool resources with your guildmates through the shared vault. Guilds are the social endgame, and they come with their own card-sharing and progression on day one.

Guilds also fight as one in Guild Brawls: weekly guild-versus-guild campaigns where your guild lines up across a ladder of frays and every rival you face is its own match with its own replay.

Your Collection, the Card Market, and Rentals

Your collection is yours to manage: browse it, filter it, and put cards to work. The card market lets you list cards for sale, post buy-side bids, rent cards out, and trade with other pilots, all backed by an honest audit trail of every move.

The economy runs on three currencies stated plainly: SGC, the tradeable in-game credit that the store always honors; STEL, the governance and staking token; and KRED, the non-tradeable store credit that spends like SGC. No gas to play, fees only matter when you cash out.

Log In Your Way, in English or German

You do not need a crypto wallet to play. Sign in with Hive Keychain, email, Google, or a supported web3 wallet, whatever fits you. A Hive account is optional and can even be created in-game when you want one.

The whole game ships in English and German, so pilots in both languages get a native experience from their first match.

Practice and Showcase Opponents

For the alpha, your matches are against showcase and practice opponents driven by our team-picking AI, and they are always labeled as bots, never disguised as people. They draft real, sensible teams so you get a genuine fight to test your decks and learn the catalog before live play arrives.

The Card Catalog: 8 Affinities, 15 Alien Races

The alpha ships with a deep catalog of kinetic, hand-arted anime cards spread across eight affinities (neutral, fire, earth, wind, water, light, dark, and divine) and fifteen alien races, from the Pyrenari and the Aquilon to the Voidkin and the Sporeling. Each race carries its own look, its own signature tricks, and its own place in the meta.

Cards bring sixty-six distinct abilities and play under eighty-four different rulesets, so no two matchups feel the same. The art leans into a dark space-opera, shonen-anime energy: speed lines, dramatic light, and combat you want to watch.

This is the beginning, not the finish line. We are building Stellarch in the open and reading every replay you send us. Thanks for flying the alpha with us, pilots.
