Patch 0.33.0: The Season Crown

When a season ends, the ladder settles one last thing: who is champion.

Ranked seasons now end with a fight. The moment a season closes, the top pilots in each active league family are drafted straight into a knockout tournament, and the last one standing takes the crown, an exclusive Fighter, and the season's prize pool. This patch is all about that finale.

Season-End Tournaments: the ladder crowns a champion

Every ranked season now ends with a tournament. When the season closes, the top pilots in each active league family are seeded automatically into a single-elimination knockout. There is no sign-up: if you placed high enough on the ladder you are already in, and you get a heads-up the moment you qualify. Play your rounds, survive the bracket, and the final pilot standing is crowned the season champion. Winners and finalists take home the season prize pool in SGC plus exclusive title and banner cosmetics, and the champion walks away with a one-of-a-kind Fighter that only ever drops from this event.

New Fighter: Vashk, the Emberwither

The season crown comes with a Fighter you cannot buy, open a pack for, or trade for. Vashk, the Emberwither is a fast, fragile Pyrenari fire-duelist built to erase an enemy front line and leave a wound that keeps burning. She is soulbound to the pilot who wins her, so every copy on the board is a season champion's trophy.

Vashk is the season-champion reward: an epic anti-tank striker with the speed to hit first and the damage to break a tank before it acts. She is minted only for a season winner and never appears in a pack or on the market, so meeting her across the board means you are facing someone who already took a crown.

The first Season Crown goes up for grabs as this season closes. Climb, qualify, and be in your seat when the bracket opens.
