Patch 0.17.1: Clean Hits

The strike that reaches, the number that lands, the edge that holds.

A small, sharp patch. A melee Fighter that hunts the weakest enemy now reaches it from anywhere on the board, the replay stops flashing a phantom shield hit that never happened, and the shop header sits on a clean edge again.

Melee Hunters Reach the Whole Board

A melee Fighter with Opportunity is meant to hunt the weakest enemy wherever it stands, but it was stuck swinging only from the front line. Now it strikes from any position, and the same goes for melee Fighters buried deep in the line under the Equal Opportunity, Hey Jealousy, and Heat Seeking rules. The ability finally plays the way the card reads.

No More Phantom Shield Hits on a Splash

When a magic splash caught a Fighter with armor or a Divine Shield, the replay could flash a stray "shield minus one" number for a hit that never actually happened. The replay now reads the real damage the engine dealt, so an armored or shielded Fighter only ever shows the hit it truly took.

A Cleaner Shop Edge

The hairline seam under the shop header could go missing depending on what was showing beneath it. It now stays put, so the header always meets the product rail on one clean edge, never a doubled or dropped line.
