This patch tightens ranked fairness and combat correctness. You now ban a single affinity instead of two, so you still dodge your worst matchup while the opponent pool stays varied for everyone. And a rare same-turn splash death now resolves cleanly, so combat and replays read right.
Improved
Ban one affinity, not two
In ranked you could ban up to two affinities you did not want to face. Banning two of the eight removed a big slice of the opponent pool, which made matchmaking narrower and less varied for everyone.
Now you ban one affinity. You still get to dodge your single worst matchup, while the ladder keeps a healthy spread of opponents. If you already had two affinities banned, we kept one of them for you and cleared the other.

Fixed
Cleaner same-turn splash deaths
Fixed a rare combat edge case. When one attacker carried both a splash pulse and reckless friendly-fire, its own adjacent ally could take two hits in the same turn: one from the reckless splash, and one from a follow-up pulse that still read the ally as alive.
Fallen allies are now cleared at the right moment during the swing, so a single turn can no longer double-hit a Fighter that already fell, and combat and replays read correctly.
Small, precise fixes, straight from watching you climb and battle. Keep the replays and feedback coming.
