Patch 0.20.2: One Email, One Account

The account we mint for you is bound to your address, and to nobody else.

Last patch put self-serve Hive accounts on the login screen. This one makes that flow trustworthy: the email your account gets bound to is locked and shown back to you, one address means exactly one account, and a request that starts can no longer strand itself halfway. Small patch otherwise, with one replay accuracy fix alongside it.

Your Account Is Locked to Your Email

The email your Hive account gets bound to now appears as a locked line on the create page rather than an editable field, so the account that gets minted is the one you actually asked for. One address means exactly one account: asking again for an email that already has an account will not mint a second one. The one-time keys page now also walks you through Keychain setup, which extension or app to install, how to import, and which key to import (never your owner key). A successful mint hands you alpha access on the spot.

The Account Request Finishes What It Starts

A request could create your account and then fail on the very last step, leaving you sitting on an unchanged form with no keys, and a "this email is already registered" wall if you tried again. The flow now confirms it can finish before it creates anything, and once an account is minted, your keys page is delivered regardless of what happens after. The form also advances to its confirmation instead of looking like nothing happened.

Ruleset Buffs Show on the Stat Pills

Seven rulesets that buff or tick Fighter stats mid battle left the stat pills in replays reading their opening numbers, so a Fighter could visibly hit harder or softer than its own pills claimed. Those pills now rebase as the rule fires, and the readout matches what is happening on the board.
